DNS2Go Acceptable Use Policy

Please read this Acceptable Use Policy carefully. Your use of any service or product provided on this Site will constitute your agreement to comply with the DNS2Go Acceptable Use Policy. If you cannot agree with these policies, please do not use this site, any service or product available via this Site and the DNS2Go servers.

Deerfield Communications strongly believes in people communication and in the freedom of expression as long as legal or moral accepted standards are not crossed. In this website, Deerfield is offering you several services and software products that may expand your communication facilities. Deerfield.com trusts that you will use these facilities in accordance with this Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy"). User violation of this Policy may result, among other things, in the suspension or cancellation of User's access to the DNS2Go network, system, software, servers, various directories and listings, various message and news boards, tools, information and databases.

In consideration of your use of the DNS2Go service, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the DNS2Go signup process. If you provide any information that is untrue or inaccurate, or Deerfield.com has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue or inaccurate, Deerfield.com has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the DNS2Go service.

By becoming a DNS2Go user, you agree to receive product updates, newsletters, announcements, technical bulletins and other carefully screened special offers and promotions via either email or DNS2Go's Client Messaging System (CMS). Deerfield Communications handles all email delivery internally to assure your privacy. If you do not wish to view and receive such communications, you may cancel your account by logging in to the My Profile section of the DNS2Go website or by following the instructions at the end of the email you receive from Deerfield.net. If you do this, your account will automatically be terminated and you will receive no further service or contact from Deerfield.com. However, Deerfield Communications will not disclose your name, address, telephone number, credit card number(s), email addresses or other personal identifying information, unless you give Deerfield.com consent to do so or except as may be required by law. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for the Deerfield.com privacy policies and information practices.

If you are licensing the Software on behalf of a for-profit business entity, your license will be free for an introductory thirty (30) day period but you must purchase a valid end user subscription after 30 days. The for-profit license will be valid for the term of the subscription purchased.

The DNS2Go Services and Information are NOT FOR USE BY CHILDREN UNDER 13 YEARS OF AGE. Please note that if it comes to DeerfieldCommunication's attention through reliable means that a registered user is a child under 13 years of age, Deerfield Communications will cancel that user's account.

Deerfield Communications does not actively monitor nor does it exercise any editorial control over the content of any website, message or other material or information created, obtained or accessible through DNS2Go Services and Information. However, Deerfield Communications retains the right to discontinue services to any user without warning, at our sole discretion that are deemed to be using the DNS2Go services in violation of ethical conduct codes of the Internet. Please see the full DNS2Go End User License Agreement.

Some of the acceptable use policy violations include; Publishing, distributing or disseminating any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, infringing, pornographic, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information. Hosting or Transmitting any material that contains software or other material protected by intellectual property laws, rights of privacy or publicity or any other applicable law unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents. User shall not use the DNS2Go Service for spamming. Spamming includes, but is not limited to the bulk sending of unsolicited messages, or the sending of unsolicited e-mails which provoke complaints from recipients, the sending of junk mail, the use of distribution lists that include people who have not given specific permission to be included in such distribution process, posting commercial ads to USENET newsgroups that do not permit it, excessive and repeated posting off-topic messages to newsgroups, e-mail harassment of another Internet user or users, including but not limited to, transmitting any threatening, libelous or obscene material, or material of any nature which could be deemed to be offensive.

If you have received SPAM from someone using the DNS2Go Service you can send a copy of the message to abuse@dns2go.com and we will investigate.

You agree not to disrupt or interfere with the DNS2Go Services and Information or any other services provided on this Site, nor to alter or tamper with any information or materials on or associated thereto.

Deerfield Communications may terminate or suspend your account for violating this Acceptable Use Policy, as determined by Deerfield Communications. Upon termination of the Service, your right to use the Service immediately ceases without refund of subscription fees. Deerfield.com shall have no obligation to maintain any content in your email services account or to forward any unread or unsent messages to you or any third party.

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan.
This DNS2Go Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is subject to change and may change often. Continued use of the DNS2Go service is subject to your acceptance of the latest AUP. You should review the conditions of the DNS2Go AUP on a regular basis. The latest AUP can always be found at:

NOTICE TO ALL USERS: CAREFULLY READ THE FOLLOWING LEGAL AGREEMENT, FOR THE LICENSE OF THE DNS2GO SOFTWARE BY DEERFIELD COMMUNICATIONS, INC. BY CLICKING "YES" OR INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE, YOU (EITHER AN INDIVIDUAL OR A SINGLE ENTITY) CONSENT TO BE BOUND BY AND BECOME A PARTY TO THIS AGREEMENT. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT, CLICK "NO", INDICATING THAT YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND DO NOT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE.

Deerfield Communications Inc herby grants to you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software and Documentation on the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. The Software and Documentation and all copyrights and other proprietary rights therein are owned by Deerfield Communications Inc or its suppliers, are protected by United States copyright laws and international treaty provisions, and may not be used, reproduced, reverse engineered, modified, distributed or transferred except as expressly provided in this Agreement.

Under the copyright laws, the DNS2Go software may not be copied, in whole or in part, without the written consent of Deerfield Communications Inc, except in the normal use of the software or to make a backup copy of the software. This exception does not allow for copies to be made for others.

DNS2Go and Deerfield.net are trademarks of Deerfield Communication Inc. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. All other product names mentioned are used for identification purposes only and may be trademarks of their respective companies. Registered and unregistered trademarks used herein are the property of their respective owners. Deerfield Communication Inc warrants to users that its software and services will be free from defects and faulty workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date on which the Registered User downloaded the software. If a defect occurs within ninety (90) days of downloading the software, the user may contact Deerfield.com to receive replacement software. This warranty to users is limited to replacement and does not encompass any other damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, and special, incidental, or other similar claims.

The DNS2Go software is provided on "as is" basis. Except for the express warranty set forth above, Deerfield Communications Inc makes no other warranties, either express or implied, regarding the software's quality, performance, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Deerfield Communications Inc does not warrant that its software or service will meet your requirements or that the operation of the service will be uninterrupted or error free. Deerfield Communications Inc is not responsible for any problems or damage caused by either the software or the service that may result from using the software or the service. Deerfield.com assumes no responsibility for the deletion or failure to store, deliver or timely deliver email and messages. The user of the DNS2Go software or services agrees to hold Deerfield Communications Inc and/or any persons associated with the creation, sales, marketing, or support of its software or service harmless for any problems arising from the sales, marketing, support or use of the software or service.

Deerfield Communications Inc exercises no control over the content or legality of information passing through our systems. Deerfield Communications Inc retains the right to discontinue services to any user that we, at our sole discretion, deem to be using our services in violation of ethical conduct codes of the Internet. This Agreement shall terminate automatically if you fail to comply with the limitations described in this agreement, or do not elect to continue the license following the expiration of the introductory period or you do not renew any one (1) year license with Deerfield.com.
Deerfield Communications Inc offers these services as another option to your ISP's Services. These services may conflict with your providers TOS (Terms of Service) agreement, and you should check with your ISP or Internet provider before doing anything that may violate your agreement with them.
